After a few years sharing Reiki as a hobby I found a passion for sound-healing and so I decided to make a career change. It was then when I travelled to Nepal, where I had the chance to be part of a sherpa community in the Himalayas and to serve at the Buddhist Pema Choling Monastery. After that, I went to explore India and became a Hatha Yoga instructor. Captured by the beauty and the benefits of the singing bowls and other shamanic instruments I was then able to connect all my interests together. Upon my return to Mexico I decided to start an entrepreneurial adventure aimed at making meditation and sound-healing an affordable practice for everyone. Honored and grateful to life for being able to share space with great yogis in this edition of the International Festival of Yoga and Music!

Amanda Cimiano

I recently achieved a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Business Management from Oxford Brookes University. This nurtured my interest in the fields of Ethics and Environmentalism. Although I have practiced Yoga since childhood it has been in these recent years that I have connected with the influence that spirituality can have on our daily lives, and ultimately, on how we run the world. Which is why last year, I ventured to India to become a Hatha Yoga instructor. Upon my return to the UK I decided to start an entrepreneurial adventure called Greenfluencing where all these interests converge and come to live! And I feel very honored and grateful to life for being able to share space with great yogis in this edition of the International Festival of Yoga and Music!
